What guests see
Card payments, straight to your Stripe account
QRSVP Card Payments adds a box under the group’s total on the “You’re in” page and on each guest’s booking: “Pay $25.00 by card”. Guests pay on Stripe’s own secure page and come back to your event; anyone who doesn’t pays at the door, as before. Tickets are emailed at sign-up as ever.
- Turn it on per event, and try it first in test mode with Stripe’s test cards
- Set up in minutes: paste your Stripe key, and the add-on adds its webhook to your Stripe account for you
- Stripe only holds the amount until your site has checked the booking, so a place cancelled or paid at the door meanwhile is never charged

Connect Stripe, then turn it on per event
Install the add-on beside the free QRSVP plugin and activate the key on its screen. Paste your Stripe key, press “Set up the webhook for me”, then tick “Let guests pay online by card” on an event.

Do I need QRSVP Pro?
No. Add-ons need only the free QRSVP plugin. They work with Pro too.
Who receives the money?
You do. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account, with Stripe’s usual fees; QRSVP takes nothing, never holds the money and never sees a card. Refunds are made in Stripe, and your guest list follows them.
What if a booking changes while a guest pays?
Nothing is charged by mistake. Stripe only holds the amount on the card until your site has checked that the group still owes exactly that; if a place was cancelled or paid at the door meanwhile, the hold is let go.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes, your own. Try everything first in test mode with Stripe’s test cards; then paste your live key and choose Live.
Can I use one licence on several sites?
One licence covers one site. You can move it to another site from the add-on’s licence screen.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. Ask within 30 days of your payment and you get a full refund.
